Game Plan

It all begins here. Before we can begin to build a brand for a non-profit, we seek to understand the entity behind the brand. So Influence & Outcomes services begin with an open discussion about you and your organization, raising the following questions:

       1. What is the character of your organization?

       2. How do you raise money (or fund) your mission?

       3. How do you currently engage your Donors and your Constituents?

       4. What are the emotional reasons that underlie people’s relationship

            to your non-profit?

       5. What’s your USP (unique selling proposition)?

All of this groundwork lays the foundation for the second step in the Game Plan: The Buyer’s Persona   assessment: We can’t assume, presume, or guess on the right messaging for a non-profit.  So many times we think we know what our clientele and donors want (or need); unfortunately we’re usually at best only partially right.

The Buyer’s Persona Assessment addresses this concern in a real way.  Influence & Outcomes conducts interviews with your current and past clientele and/or donors.  Our Team seeks to find out why they choose (‘buy’) your organization, how they found out about it, why they chose it, and what they were thinking about when they sought out your services or organization.

Social Media

Facebook – LinkedIn – Instagram – Twitter – YouTube

Here’s some real numbers for you:

+  91% of all mobile internet traffic is for social media

+ 55% of those who engage with nonprofits via social media have been inspired to take further action.

+ 47% of Americans learn about causes via social media and online channels.

So those are the numbers.

Most of you know that Social Media is important, but what I want to you to ask yourself is:

+  What are you doing about it?

+  How many of you go to a social media site on your phone each day?

So if you’re personally using social media regularly, why aren’t you using it successfully for your organization too.

Our process boils down to this:

+  Social Media Review of your organization’s current social media use

+  Choosing a Social Media Strategy & an  Execution Manager

+  Social Media organization, calendar, and posting

+  Modernizing & updating of non-profit’s Social Media profiles and pages

We facilitate the allocation of an organization’s Social Media into the proper channels.

Fundraising

For many small to medium non-profits these are ever changing times.  Influence & Outcomes seeks to bring new avenues of money creation into each enterprise we support.

1 – What are you willing to bring to the table?  If your organization’s sustainability isn’t solid, then the first steps involve evaluating what your non-profit has to offer and what it needs to be sustained.

These questions start to address your organization’s strengths and weaknesses.  Influence & Outcomes helps Non-profit Leaders formulate a robust Plan of Attack.  The plan will include donors, but may also involve a re-direction of your core program efforts, a potential new earned–revenue stream, and/or a Game Plan to build and cultivate your organization’s donors.

2 – Building or establishing your donor base.  Do you have a program to cultivate your donors?  Are the donors in a database? What are you doing with your past clientele and do they play a role in your fundraising program?

3 – Establishing a market funnel and improving your organization culture.  Fundraising is an all-in effort.  Crafting a step by step program that takes clients through each step of funnel.

+ Capture Interest – Utilization of low-cost marketing tools to attract interest and capture it for further development.

+ Nurture – Tools that track interest will foster the ability to segment the level of interest in your cause.

+ Convert – Maximize giving at the right moment.

+ Partner – Can you convert some givers into raving fans for your cause?

Publishing

56% of non-profits are testing Content Marketing Strategy, as reported by The NonProfitTimes in a 2016 study.

+ Online articles and posts published by a non-profit are it’s content. The focus on content marketing is the highest-touted priority being cited by organizations.

Influence & Outcomes knows firsthand the value of Publishing.  We have found that it is a key enabler in establishing legitimacy and thought leadership for a prospective organization.

In a time when we are crowded with noise from all places, it’s pivotal to offer content which establishes why you and your organization serve a critical role in our community.   That happens best we’ve observed with Publishing.

How do you create an emotional, eye-opening experience for your potential donors?  How do get the word out on how your organization impacts the community?  It could be an impactful story, expressed in a video or a short story which poignantly reveals a reality which the larger public isn’t fully aware of.   All of that is possible through a cohesive content strategy; publishing is a key tool in your organization’s arsenal.

Influence & Outcomes provides seasoned guidance to Non-profit Leaders on what & when to publish.  We can edit your content creations, and -with our non-profit intern college program- we can go one step further to create content on your behalf and facilitate your organizational development.
